The Angel Smiledever since she was a little girl, they creeped her out. the way they just stood there with no eyes and yet looking into the world...Almost as if they were looking for something-or someone. there were also times she could swear they were watching her, leering at her almost. but she reasoned they weren’t because they were just statues. the one in question in the form of a guardian angel. it frightened her and yet she still held a morbid curiosity for it. it stood amidst a curtain of roses, unkempt because the ground crew on her father's estate refused to go near it. like pigeons instinctively knew not to perch with a hawk.The Angel Smiled
